Carey L. Peters, Ph.D., the executive director of the Construction Labor Research Council (CLRC) will present a 90-minute webinar detailing how employment share is calculated for SMACNA’s 2011 Employment Share study.  The portion of work performed by the union sector is a key indicator of success in the market place.  Employment share shows the degree of unionization in a given area, and perhaps more importantly, the trend over time.

The ability to measure your current situation and historical trends is useful in evaluating industry performance and planning for the future.  But you can’t put this information to use unless you understand the numbers.  This webinar will give you a better understanding of how employment share is calculated, what it means and what it doesn’t, allowing you to utilize the employment share data to its fullest potential.
